Europe's leading specialist retailer of photographic equipment and accessories, Jessops approached Touchstone to deliver NVQ Level 2 and 3 training at their Distribution and Warehousing Centre in Leicester. The company have achieved BS EN ISO 9002 accreditation for procurement, stockholding and supply and realised the importance of staff training in ensuring that their quality standards were maintained.

The training commenced in August 2001 and was initially aimed at five members of Jessop's distribution and warehousing team who wanted to generally broaden their knowledge of the operation. A flexible programme of work-based training and assessment was introduced, with some activities to be completed at home and all five staff successfully completed their Level 2 qualification in 12 months. A further Level 2 programme and an NVQ Level 3 programme have since been rolled out.
