Group 1

• Maximise product sales

• Provide information and advice to customers

• Demonstrate products

• Promote loyalty schemes

• Receive goods and materials into storage

• Put goods and materials into storage

• Process customer orders for goods

• Prepare products for sale

• Process bake-off products for sale

• Process fish and shellfish for sale

• Process greengrocery products for sale

• Finish meat products by hand

• Contribute to dough production control and efficiency

• Select, weigh and measure dough ingredients

• Hand divide, mould and shape fermented dough’s • Maintain food safety while working with food

• Assemble retail products in customer’s home/workplace

• Provide lingerie fitting services

• Promote beauty products

• Help customers to buy National Lottery products

• Keep stock on sale at required levels

• Display stock to promote sales

• Follow guidelines for planning and preparing visual merchandising displays

• Follow guidelines for dressing visual merchandising displays

• Order graphic materials for visual merchandising displays

• Dismantle and store visual merchandising displays

• Make props for visual merchandising displays

• Put visual merchandising displays together

• Process payments for purchases

• Process payments and credit applications for purchases

• Process cash and credit transactions

• Follow point-of-sale procedures for age-restricted products

• Process returned goods and materials

• Help to maintain a safe and healthy retail environment

• Help to keep the retail workplace secure
