Goldsmiths were established in 1778 and are now the UK's leading jewellery retailer with 165 stores across the country. Their mission to provide the highest quality at every level throughout their products, shops, staff and service which means training is always high on the agenda.
Touchstone Learning & Skills was originally appointed by Goldsmiths Head Office in 1999 to provide ongoing NVQ training in Administration, Retail and Customer Service. The Administration training involved the creation of action plans for each member of staff on the course, including realistic objectives and timescales. Regular feedback was provided throughout by the Learner's colleagues, Store Managers and the Touchstone training officer.

The staff involved have not only acquired additional knowledge and skills to enable them to perform their jobs more effectively but they generally feel more involved and motivated to succeed".
Goldsmiths have since rolled out Touchstone's NVQ training throughout the UK.
